Snapchat Account Deletion Issue - Unable to Delete Account

I'm being redirected to the page where I can delete my Snap account, but it seems there are some security restrictions in place. It's asking me to try again in 72 hours. I've been dealing with this problem for the past few days. What is the reason behind this occurrence? I'm also getting notifications when people add me as a friend on Gmail. Please delete my account as soon as possible. Could you kindly remove it? I no longer desire it.
