I’ve Been Trying to Delete My Snapchat Account for Days But Get a 72-Hour Restriction

Hello, I’ve been trying to permanently delete my Snapchat account, but every time I attempt to do so, I get a message saying:
“Please try again in 72 hours due to a security restriction.” It’s been several days now, and I keep getting the same response. The countdown never resets properly, and the deletion won’t go through.

I contacted Snapchat support, but all they said was “We’re sorry, there’s nothing we can do.” Really? You’re telling me one of the most widely used apps can’t even manage to delete an account when a user requests it?

Snapchat, this is unacceptable. If I want to leave your platform, I should be able to. Delete my account now and stop dragging this out.
