Slazenger Shoes Degrade in 3 Hours Sitting Down

On June 26th, I received my Slazenger sports shoes, intending to wear them during my trip to Bozcaada on June 30th. However, thanks to a warning from a friend, the laces tore off from where they were attached after only 3-4 hours of wearing them. In front of my girlfriend, I felt embarrassed. She didn't say anything, but I could tell. My vacation turned out to be a disaster thanks to Slazenger. I used to think Slazenger was a trustworthy and affordable brand, but it appears I should have stuck with Nike or a similar brand. I bought a replica Adidas pair for 300 TL 10 months ago, and they proved to be more durable than these Slazenger shoes. I've been wearing them on a regular basis with no problems. I only sat in the car while wearing the Slazenger shoes; I didn't even drive. However, the end result is visible in the photograph. I want my money back.
