New Skoda Superb Damaged Due to Reverse Charge – Waiting Over 20 Days for Parts
I purchased a new Skoda Superb and took it to a company for PPF coating. While working on the car, they realized the battery was draining and attempted to jump-start it. Unfortunately, they performed a reverse charge, causing the fuse and fuse panel to burn out. Roadside assistance came, and I had the car towed to an authorized service center. I was informed that the damaged parts would be ordered from abroad, but it has now been over 20 days, and there’s no update on when the parts will arrive—or if they will at all. It’s frustrating that while deliveries from China can arrive in 10 days, there’s no clear timeline for parts from Europe.
This entire experience has made me regret buying a Skoda. I’m seriously considering selling the car I once loved (if they ever manage to fix it), and I strongly advise anyone thinking of buying a Skoda to reconsider. Think twice before making the same mistake!
