Sixt Sarajevo Holding €700 Deposit for Over a Month After Car Returned in Perfect Condition
On Saturday, April 25th, we rented a car from the Sixt office at Sarajevo Airport and returned it on May 2nd in perfect condition — no damage, nothing missing. At the time of rental, a €700 deposit was charged to our card. Because we paid with a debit card, they made the process unnecessarily difficult for us, claiming that the card had no number printed on it.
More than a month has passed since we returned the vehicle, and the deposit still has not been returned to our account. When we contacted Sixt about this, they redirected us to their Germany branch — which has also failed to respond in any way. We have received no explanation, written or verbal, and this has seriously damaged our trust in the brand. Our rental ID number is 9523040361.
I am demanding the immediate return of the €700 deposit and a clear, written explanation of why this refund has been delayed for over a month.
