Last night, I created a basic membership on the Simple app, thinking I would receive a 12-week membership. However, first, $4 was charged to my card as a membership fee. Then, when I clicked on the “get program” section in the app, I was charged again—this time $4 and $50 in two separate transactions.
These charges were made without any additional approval from me, and the total amount deducted was far higher than I expected. This situation both surprised me and caused financial inconvenience.
I have all relevant bank transaction records, in-app logs, and screenshots documenting these charges. I am requesting a full refund of the $4, $4, and $50 charges made through the Simple app, as well as any other deductions I believe were unjust.
Otherwise, I will file formal complaints with the appropriate authorities, including the Consumer Arbitration Committee, and pursue legal action with my attorney. I expect this issue to be reviewed promptly and all charged amounts to be fully refunded to my card.
