Last year, I downloaded an app called “Simple Premium Life” on my phone, but I deleted it the same day without making any payments or using the app. Despite this, I recently noticed on my credit card statements that, starting from June 2025, I have been charged every month under the description “Simple Premium/simple.life.”
For the first four months, the charges were around $12, and in the following months, they increased to about $31, with only two months in between where no charges were made. Most recently, I saw another charge of $31 on my VakıfBank credit card this month. In total, I have been charged $175 without my knowledge or consent.
After deleting the app, I have no record or recollection of starting any paid subscription, approving any membership, or receiving any notification or email regarding these charges. I believe these transactions were made without my consent using my saved card information on my phone.
I am requesting a full refund of all amounts charged to my VakıfBank credit card by the Simple Premium Life app without my knowledge or consent. I also request that any active subscriptions or memberships associated with my account be immediately and permanently canceled. Additionally, I expect a clear written explanation regarding these charges.
