Shortmax Subscription Cannot Be Cancelled
I am writing because Shortmax continues to withdraw $19.99 monthly from my bank account, even though I have been trying to cancel this subscription and there is no clear way to do so. I originally signed up with my bank card, and on my bank statement the charge only shows as your name, without any useful reference or customer number. Despite this, there is no option or place in your subscription settings to cancel, which feels deceptive and unfair. For the last two months you have taken $19.99 from my account, including another withdrawal today. I even changed my virtual card number, yet you still managed to take the payment, which is extremely worrying and makes me feel that my details are not being respected. I have already had to contact my bank, and I now have to wait until the transaction settles and then dispute it again, which wastes my time and creates unnecessary stress. A subscription should be simple to cancel directly, not a battle every month. I do not want to use your streaming app anymore and I do not trust the way these payments are being handled. I request that you immediately and completely cancel my Shortmax subscription and block any future payments from being taken from my account. I also expect you to stop charging me without my consent and to confirm that my subscription is permanently canceled so that I do not have to keep disputing these charges through my bank.
