After my SunExpress flight XQ7150 on 30.09.2026 on the Antalya–Batman route, my baby’s Xiaomi Mitu cabin-size stroller and my pink trolley suitcase were delivered to me damaged, even though both items were in good condition when I handed them over at check-in. My baggage tag number for this flight is XQ875930, and I reported the damage at the airport on the same day. The stroller’s front wheel tires were completely torn off, the rear wheels became visibly bent outward and the brake system stopped working. This stroller was purchased abroad, is no longer sold and therefore its spare parts are not available in Türkiye. I took it to several repair shops and was clearly informed that the stroller could not be repaired. Despite this, under case Sun-10206149 SunExpress stated, based only on the photos, that the stroller was repairable and requested a repair invoice. It is simply not possible to provide a repair invoice for a product that is technically not repairable due to lack of parts and service. The trolley mechanism of my pink suitcase was also damaged during the same flight and now cannot be opened and closed properly, so the suitcase is not usable as intended. For this damage, under case Sun-10209739, SunExpress again stated that the suitcase was considered repairable according to the photos and requested a repair invoice, with the note that the file would remain closed until such an invoice was provided. For both items, I had already submitted detailed photos and videos showing the damage, and my IBAN details were requested by SunExpress. In the last response I received, I was told for both case numbers that, based on the images, the stroller and suitcase were considered repairable and that the cases would remain closed until repair invoices were provided, after which the claims could be reopened and reviewed. However, the stroller cannot actually be repaired because the necessary spare parts are unavailable in Türkiye, and the suitcase is not properly usable due to its broken trolley system. I request that my cases Sun-10206149 and Sun-10209739 be reconsidered based on the real and current condition of the stroller and suitcase, not just on the assumption that they are repairable. Since obtaining repair invoices is objectively impossible in this situation, I kindly ask that my financial loss be compensated through an appropriate monetary payment for both items.
