I Face Staining Issue with Rabanne Victor Elixir Perfume and Long Wait from Sephora
On July 13, 2025, I purchased the Rabanne Victor Elixir perfume from the Sephora Mall of İstanbul store for approximately ₺6,000. After just a few uses, I noticed that the perfume was leaving yellow stains on my clothing. This issue isn't unique to the bottle I bought—the store’s tester also caused similar stains, clearly indicating a broader problem with the product’s formula or ingredients.
I returned to the Mall of İstanbul Sephora store on July 16, and while I appreciate that the product was accepted for review, I was told the inspection process would take 21 days. This is unacceptable for a paying customer. During this time, I am unable to use the product, and I am left with both financial loss and dissatisfaction.
Here are my key concerns:
What resolution will be offered after this long inspection period?
Why am I being forced to wait 21 days for a product that obviously has a quality issue?
How is it acceptable that a luxury product can cause this much damage after only a few uses?
I am requesting either a full refund or a direct replacement of the product. If Sephora fails to take appropriate action, I will not hesitate to pursue my consumer rights through legal channels. I expected better product quality and customer service from a brand like Sephora. Please resolve this issue promptly.
