Around May 13 or 14, I purchased two perfumes from the Sephora store at İzmir Bornova Forum—one 100 ml Bvlgari Man Wood Essence and one 50 ml Giorgio Armani fragrance. The purchase was made under the name Muhterem Gündüz, and the store should be able to locate my receipt under that name. I paid approximately $290 in total.
Even though I’ve been using both perfumes regularly since the first day, neither scent lasts even a few hours, and they have almost no longevity at all. This happens every time I use them. I’ve previously purchased the same brands from other places and never experienced this issue, which makes me seriously question the authenticity of these products.
Because I live in Salihli, I was only able to report the issue to the store toward the end of last month. At the store, I was told that since 5–6 months had passed since the purchase date, there was nothing they could do. On top of that, we were forced to purchase two more perfumes, paying another $290. I am fully willing to send the original products in for inspection if requested.
Due to both the high amount I paid and the inconvenience I experienced, I am requesting that the authenticity of the Bvlgari Man Wood Essence and Giorgio Armani perfumes I purchased from Bornova Forum Sephora be verified. If any issues are found, I ask that a refund or exchange be processed and that my grievance be properly resolved.
