Segway Refused to Repair My Ninebot Max G2 Because Parts Are No Longer Available
I have owned a Segway Ninebot Max G2 electric scooter for approximately one and a half years, and it has been experiencing recurring problems for nearly a full year. Different issues have appeared at different times, forcing me to take the scooter to an authorized service center repeatedly. About two months ago, I received the scooter back after another repair, but shortly afterward it developed a new problem. While riding, the rear wheel began making a loud, continuous noise.
Two days ago, I took the scooter back to Hünerli Technical Service in the Millet neighborhood of Bursa. About two hours later, the service center called me and explained that Segway had stopped supplying replacement parts for this model, as well as for certain other scooters. Because of this, they said they could no longer inspect, repair, or replace any components on my scooter. I was even told to come and pick up the unrepaired scooter because nothing further could be done.
My scooter's warranty is about to expire, yet I have spent nearly a year dealing with repeated service visits for the same product. Despite the ongoing warranty coverage, Segway's decision to discontinue parts availability has left me without any practical repair option. As a customer, I believe it is unacceptable to be denied warranty support simply because replacement parts are no longer being supplied.
I request that Segway and its authorized service network resolve my complaint before my warranty expires. Given the scooter's repeated failures and the inability to repair it due to the lack of replacement parts, I request that my Segway Ninebot Max G2 be replaced with a new unit. The service center already has records of my previous repairs and warranty claims. I ask that this matter be resolved promptly and in a fair manner consistent with the warranty provided for the product.
