The web-based phone tracking service Scannero works by sending a text message with a tracking link to the device you want to keep an eye on.
If the person clicks on the link, their location is sent to the sender. So, Scannero can't find your phone if you haven't clicked on that link.
But if you clicked on the link, you should do something right away to protect your privacy.
First, delete the letter that has the tracking link in it to stop any possible tracking.
After that, clear your browser's history and cache to get rid of any leftover information. Also, you should check your device's settings to make sure that no changes have been made without your permission.
If you have an iPhone, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services. If you have an Android phone, go to Settings > Location to control how apps can access your location.
