Samsung TV SolarCell Remote Only Works When Plugged Into Charging Cable
The remote control for my Samsung 50Q60C50 TV has been defective for about two months. The remote only works while plugged into a charging cable; the moment the cable is disconnected, it stops responding completely. The TV has been in use for over a year and remains under warranty.
Following this issue, I contacted Samsung customer support, and they referred me to an authorized service center. After inspecting the remote, the service center stated that it needed to be replaced and instructed me to submit a request for a new remote through Samsung customer support. However, Samsung customer support completely neglected the issue—they neither took action to resolve the defect nor sent a replacement remote. To make matters worse, after our last conversation about two weeks ago, I learned via text message that my service ticket had been canceled.
I find it completely unacceptable to be neglected like this regarding a chronic issue on a product that is still under warranty. I demand that my defective remote be replaced free of charge under warranty and that this issue be resolved immediately.
