Samsung TV Satellite Menu Displays "Service Unavailable" Error
The satellite setup menu on my 50-inch Samsung TV is completely unresponsive, continuously displaying a "This service is unavailable" error message on the screen. I purchased the device approximately 3 months ago, and even though it is well within its warranty period, the authorized service center demanded a $31 service fee to fix the satellite settings. I was using the television under normal conditions, and there has been no drop, physical damage, or user error whatsoever.
I contacted customer service for support regarding this issue, and a remote video assistance request was created with an appointment scheduled for today. Despite taking time off work to wait at home, no one called or followed up, and I was unable to get through to customer service again. Being asked to pay a fee for a product under warranty, combined with the total failure to deliver promised support, has left me deeply frustrated.
I demand that my satellite settings issue be resolved free of charge under warranty and that I receive clear follow-up regarding my case. Otherwise, I will file a formal complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee and CIMER.
