Samsung Refrigerator Failure and Customer Grievance

The freezer compartment of my 7.5-year-old Samsung refrigerator stopped cooling. The service team came and said there was a gas leak. They took it to the workshop and said four parts needed to be replaced—one would be covered under the 10-year motor warranty, but the other three would cost ₺8,400. After the repairs, they would test it again, and if there’s a leak in the body, I would have to pay extra to replace the body too. I called customer service and said that if a body replacement is required, I would be losing money—it makes more sense to just buy a new fridge at that price. They keep calling with no real solution, repeating exactly what the service team said and asking if I want to go ahead with the part replacement. Don’t insult our intelligence—it’s basic middle school math that shows I’d be at a loss. My 7-year-old Samsung dishwasher also failed, and I had to buy a different brand because the repair was too expensive. Now it’s the fridge! Samsung home appliances are unreliable and leave customers stranded. I’m writing this here just so others planning to buy home appliances take this into account. They’ll just repeat the same thing even if they contact me. Also, the service team didn’t provide a single document when they took the entire fridge. Samsung appliances barely last 7 years!
