Samsung Refrigerator Broke Down, Replacement Product Not Arriving for Weeks
On 24.07.2022, I bought a refrigerator from the Samsung dealer in Sanliurfa Piazza Shopping Center. Even though it hadn’t even been 2 years since I bought the refrigerator, my guaranteed product broke down on 25.06.2024. After contacting the necessary parties, it was decided that the refrigerator would be replaced with a brand-new product, and I was told to choose a refrigerator, which I did. For the last week or ten days, in every conversation I had with Samsung Customer Service, they said that the refrigerator I chose would be in stock. However, on 24.07.2024, they informed me that the product I chose was out of stock and offered a color I had not requested. When I asked for a refund, they said it would be at the unit price I paid in 2022 (₺17,300). I did not accept this, as the current equivalent is close to ₺50,000. They promised to reach out within a day after the decision, but it has now been 2 days with no contact. I want a refund at the current price. It has been over a month, and I am without a refrigerator in the middle of summer with no resolution in sight. I have filed a complaint with CİMER and the Consumer Arbitration Committee. I will take this to court on Monday. I have the invoice and messages from Samsung proving my purchase.
