Samsung 58TU7000 Screen Failed Right After Warranty Ended
My Samsung 58TU7000 TV developed a screen issue, just like many others have reported here. And, just like in almost every complaint, the problem occurred shortly after the warranty expired. I contacted Samsung, and the service team quoted me ₺23,487 for the repair. I chose Samsung thinking it would be high quality, even though I could have bought a larger TV for half the price. I didn’t hesitate to pay more for quality. Now, Samsung is practically punishing me for that choice. Despite hundreds of people reporting screen issues with this specific model, they still claim it's not a chronic defect. I was just told that again. Either Samsung admits its fault and repairs this TV, or I will burn my “Samsung TV” in the town square. No one should trust Samsung and pay that kind of money anymore.
The company does not stand behind its mistake in any way and does not accept it. The Samsung name is just a story. Don’t waste your money. Go and look at other brands. I refused paid repair because I don’t trust the company or the product. I will burn this TV and buy another brand of television.
