Samsung Fold Screen Shattered During Warranty Repair Attempt

On February 29, 2024, I brought my Samsung Fold device to their authorized service center due to an unresponsive screen. I was experiencing the well-known hinge issue common in Fold series devices, where the hinge becomes stuck and the screen fails to open properly. Unfortunately, during a minor attempt to open the device, the screen cracked.
Despite my phone being under warranty, the service center informed me that the screen repair would cost ₺19,990 ($3,745). This is unacceptable, as the damage occurred during their attempted repair for a known manufacturing defect.
I'm reaching out for assistance before escalating the issue to the Consumer Protection Board. I believe Samsung should honor the warranty and repair the screen at no cost to me.
