Samsung A/C Service Scandal: Long Wait Times And Indifference

On June 3, 2024, I purchased an AR35 White AR12TXHQBWK A++ 12000 BTU Inverter Wall Type Air Conditioner from EPATeknoloji on Hepsiburada. The item was shipped promptly, and with HepsiJet XL’s fast delivery, it reached me on June 5. I called Samsung customer service the same day to create a service request, but they called back after three days and scheduled an appointment for June 15, the day before the holiday, due to high demand. Buying an air conditioner during summer is for immediate use; such a long wait is unacceptable. Every summer, people need air conditioners and maintenance. The service should have a better plan. Saying “we can only schedule this date due to high demand” disrespects the customer. It’s like telling a thirsty person to drink water after 10 days. This shows the lack of value Samsung and its service gives to customers. I called the service and Samsung customer service multiple times, suggesting I’d pay for my own installation and they could approve my warranty afterward. They refused, insisting they must install and approve it themselves. I bought this product to cool down during hot summer days, not to suffer. Additionally, scheduling the installation the day before a holiday prevents me from going anywhere. They might even cancel last minute, ruining my vacation, or delay the solution further. I will never purchase from Samsung again. They clearly do not care about Turkey. When I told a friend in France, he said this was unacceptable. In this country, monopolized brands treat us as second-class citizens. I do not recommend their air conditioners or any other product.
