Samsung 65Q80CA Update Broke Channel Change

May 1 11:38 AM28

I have been using my Samsung 65Q80CA model television, which I purchased from Hepsiburada approximately 2 years ago, without any problems until recently. About 3 days ago, on Sunday evening, a software update was sent to my television by Samsung and the device automatically installed this update. Immediately after the update, although all the buttons on the remote control were working, I became unable to change channels. I called the Samsung call center about the issue and they accessed the device via remote connection, but the problem could not be resolved. Afterwards, I was informed that my warranty had expired and that I either had to have a paid service operation or buy a new remote control. I do not accept that the responsibility is placed on me if a television and remote that worked perfectly before the update started to malfunction right after a software update sent by Samsung. In addition, although I was told that the service would call me, no service record was created and no one has contacted me so far. My only request is that my television and, in particular, my remote control be restored to their previous normal, working condition before the update, and that this problem not be charged to me under reasons such as user error or out-of-warranty status. I request that this update-related problem be resolved by Samsung through a software fix or any other method deemed necessary, without any additional cost to me, and that my device be brought back to its former proper operating condition.

Samsung did not contact me in any way—no information, no call; I've never seen such emptiness. I bought a new TV, LG. Samsung is finished for me, and I will never recommend it to anyone around me.
