On January 2nd, 2023, I purchased a Samsung 65BU8000 TV. Unfortunately, the remote control has been malfunctioning since day one.
Here are the issues I'm experiencing:
When I change the channel, it randomly jumps to 15-20 channels ahead.
When I press the volume button, it sometimes increases the volume to the maximum level even though I only press it twice.
The volume randomly increases to 60-70% on its own.
I am unable to control the TV with the remote at all sometimes.
I have contacted Samsung customer service multiple times about this issue, but they have been unable to resolve it.
I am requesting that Samsung:
Replace the defective remote control under warranty.
Repair the remote control and return it to me in working condition.
I have attached a video recording that demonstrates the issues I am experiencing.
I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter and help me get a resolution from Samsung.
