I Get Fast Battery Drain and Overheating on My Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra After 20 Days
I bought the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra about 20 days ago, and I’m already extremely disappointed. The phone’s battery drains unbelievably fast—I find myself having to charge it twice a day, even though my daily usage is minimal. I only spend about 1.5 hours a day on the phone, yet the battery disappears as if it’s running all day in the background.
To make matters worse, the phone gets very hot when I play even moderately demanding games. The level of heat is not normal for such a new and expensive flagship device. I expected elite performance for the price I paid, not battery anxiety and overheating issues within the first month.
My previous phone was five years old, and it never had battery or heat problems—ironically, it outperforms this brand-new model in both categories. I’m planning to send the phone in under warranty and I hope Samsung provides a real fix, because this experience is unacceptable.

I bought a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and I regret buying the phone. The battery drains very quickly and it heats up. I sent it to the warranty service and they said there was no problem with the phone, but there really is a battery issue. They said the phone was sent to Antalya Yıldırım Elektronik. And today, when I plugged the phone into charge, after 5 minutes the phone started giving a warning saying that a foreign object was detected in the charging/USB port. They say I use the phone too much because of my work, but why does the battery always drain so quickly? Do I have to keep sending the phone to warranty service all the time? The phone is only 2 months old and has so many problems. And my final word: either fix the phone or don't send it back, I don't want it, nor do I want my money back. I regret buying this phone.
