Roborock S8 Pro Ultra Plus Warranty Issue - Dust Bag Not Emptying
I purchased my Roborock S8 Pro Ultra Plus vacuum cleaner from Media Markt on 03.12.2023, and although it is still under warranty, Recci Teknoloji — which claims to be the authorized service — keeps asking me for payment for every issue. After buying the device, I also purchased an additional warranty package through the former authorized service, Roboking. Despite this, the device currently does not empty the dust bag. Because of this problem, I applied for service twice in 2024, and each time I was asked to pay for a repair that should clearly be covered by the warranty. Previously, they requested around 2,000 ₺ from me, and now they are asking 1,300 ₺ just for a fault diagnosis. When I explain that the device is under warranty and that I also purchased an extra warranty package through Roboking, they justify the charges by saying it is under an “importer warranty.” However, I bought the product with an official invoice from Media Markt and paid for additional warranty coverage, so I do not accept any charges, including diagnostic fees. I request that the dust-bag-emptying malfunction on my Roborock device be repaired entirely under warranty without any additional cost, and that the financial inconvenience caused by the charges previously requested from me be resolved. This whole process makes me question, “Why should I purchase another Roborock product under these conditions?”
