Renault Koleos Airbag Failure - Surviving a Crash with Closed Airbags!
Despite a severe accident on October 9, 2023, my 2018 Renault Koleos airbags failed to deploy. The car jumped the median in Terme, Samsun, tilting to the right, sliding and colliding with a pole, then flipping several times, landing on the other side, wheels up, on a concrete planter. Astonishingly, none of the six airbags deployed. Seeking justice, I engaged a court-appointed expert, and the findings point to a manufacturing flaw. Renault's response? They insist I foot the bill for an inspection by their own service center. Worried about my rights as a consumer, given the clear determination of a production error, I'm escalating this matter to ensure justice is served. The incident is now in arbitration, and I've decided to bring attention to this issue to prevent others from facing the same ordeal. Photos of the accident will be attached for your reference.
