Renault Captur Icon 1.3 Safety Belt Defect
I purchased a Renault Captur Icon 1.3 Mild Hybrid EDC 140Bg from the Bandırma Renault Dealer on 09/08/2023. To my dismay, when attempting to use the rear middle seat's safety belt for the first time, I discovered a flaw in the safety belt of the brand-new car. I promptly reported the issue to the dealership. However, instead of acknowledging the defective product, the dealership demanded a staggering ₺10,000 as an exchange fee.
Damaging the safety belt is out of the question; it's evident that the product has a manufacturing defect. Be cautious when buying from Bandırma Somtaş Renault dealership or any Renault-branded vehicle. Defective products are being sold, leaving customers in distress. I will escalate my complaint to CIMER and pursue legal action to seek a resolution.
