I purchased my 2024 Renault Megane 4 1.3 TCe Icon on October 17, 2024. Initially, the average fuel consumption started at 9.7 liters, gradually dropping to 7.5 and then 7.2 liters. However, after just two months, it suddenly increased to 9.7, then 10, and now 11 liters, despite the vehicle only having 1,600 km on it.
When I contacted Renault, I was told the fuel consumption would stabilize at around 20,000 km. It’s frustrating to experience such inconsistent fuel efficiency and then be told to wait for a resolution. A car of this caliber should not require 20,000 km to reach acceptable consumption levels. I expect Renault to address this issue promptly and provide a clear explanation or solution.
