Remitly Claims The Transfer is Done, But It Never Got Deposited To Acc

I am filing a complaint regarding an international money transfer I made through Remitly on 20 January 2026 from the United States to India, in the amount of 1,970 USD, which has still not been credited to my account. The transfer reference number is R23083935386. The money was supposed to be deposited into my ICICI NRO account in India, but more than seven days have passed, and the funds are still missing. I have been informed that the USD funds were sent to the wrong account, which is extremely concerning because I have been using the same ICICI NRO account with Remitly for years without any issues. To verify, I even made a small test transfer of INR 1,000 yesterday, and that amount was deposited into my account immediately. This clearly shows that my recipient details are correct and unchanged, and yet the main transfer of 1,970 USD has not reached my account. I have contacted Remitly customer support multiple times, but so far, I have only been given the runaround, without any clear explanation, ownership of the error, or a concrete solution. I still do not understand how this mistake occurred or where my money currently is, and this situation has caused me serious stress and inconvenience. This transfer is for a medical emergency, and the delay is directly affecting an urgent need. I urgently request that Remitly immediately locate these funds and ensure that the full 1,970 USD is credited to my correct ICICI NRO account without further delay. I also expect a clear explanation of how this error occurred and confirmation in writing once the issue is fully resolved.
