ReelShort Unauthorised Charge Of $34.99

On 26 April 2026, a charge of $34.99 appeared on my Halifax Visa debit card from “REELSHORTW-698592139 185-8886121 US”. I have not signed up for any service, subscription, or purchase from this company, and did not authorize this transaction in any way. At the time of writing, I have not yet contacted Halifax or the merchant, but I will do so if this matter is not resolved promptly. I am very concerned that an amount has been taken from my account without my consent. I request a full refund of the $34.99 that was taken and a clear confirmation that any related subscription or service is cancelled and that no further charges will be made to my card.
