I woke up this morning to find that my Realme C55 had somehow reset itself overnight, without any warning or action on my part. I didn’t press anything, initiate a factory reset, or change any settings. Yet the phone was completely wiped—all of my 210 GB of data gone in an instant.
This is absolutely unacceptable. How can a smartphone perform a factory reset on its own without the user’s confirmation? I lost everything—photos, videos, documents, and other essential data that I had carefully stored over time. There was no prompt, no backup, no chance to recover. Just total erasure.
I demand an explanation from Realme and a way to recover my lost files immediately. A phone should never delete user data without consent under any circumstance. If this is a known software bug or a critical failure, Realme must take responsibility and offer a fix before others experience the same devastating loss.
I trusted this device with my digital life, and now that trust is broken. Realme must acknowledge this issue, provide a real solution, and ensure this never happens again.
