Ray-Ban 2140 Glasses Show Defects and No Support
I purchased my Ray-Ban 2140 model glasses from Atasun Optik. Within about the first year of use, both temples of the glasses began to stretch and lose color. Due to my profession as a municipal police officer, I work outdoors in the Osmaniye heat five days a week, morning and evening, and I must use my glasses constantly. Because of this issue, I sent the product for warranty service twice and spoke with Atasun Optik customer service a total of 4–5 times. However, I was only given an inadequate and dismissive explanation such as “You may have used it too much in the sun.” I was also told that repairs could only be done for a fee and that a refund or replacement was not possible. Other than expressing that they were sorry, customer service did not provide any solution. My invoice number is 2024000002207. From a brand like Ray-Ban and a company like Atasun Optik, I expected a higher-quality product and a customer satisfaction–focused approach. I request that this manufacturing-related issue with my glasses be resolved free of charge under warranty, or otherwise that the product be replaced.
