Amazon Prime Video Double-Bills Credit Card and Blocks Online Account Removal
I am experiencing hardship regarding unauthorized charges and membership cancellation issues with my Amazon Prime Video subscription. Without my consent for any new payment and while my membership was active, deductions were made from my registered credit card without my permission.
My bank account statements clearly show that a total of $4 was deducted from my card under the description "Amazon Prime TR"—specifically $2 on July 25, 2026, and $2 on August 4, 2026. No separate authorization or instruction was provided by me for these charges.
Furthermore, although I wished to cancel my membership and remove my registered credit card details from my account, I was unable to do so through the system. I also encountered severe difficulty in reaching customer service, and no clear solution was provided for my issue. Fearing for the security of my card details, I was forced to cancel my existing credit card and request a replacement, a process that resulted in both wasted time and financial burden.
Therefore, I demand a full refund of the total $4 collected without my consent, the immediate and permanent cancellation of my Prime Video membership, the permanent deletion of all payment information saved to my account, and a clear written explanation detailing the specific transactions or payment instructions upon which these deductions were made.
I am attaching the screenshot showing my bank account statement as proof. I would like to state that should my request not be met, I will file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee and relevant legal authorities, and I request that my grievance be addressed urgently with written notice of the outcome provided to me.
