Priceline Charged Me Extra for Seats and Luggage Without Telling Me

Quite terrible Priceline experience. We reserved what we believed to be a fantastic discount, only to discover later that the reservation did not really include checked luggage or seats—none of which was specified upon booking. When we contacted Priceline customer support to ask questions, they were quite useless. The representative really refused to honor the stated pricing and claimed the ticket price we seen online had changed in the few minutes it took to call. We should have been advised ahead of time about this; we ended up being charged an additional $310 only for seats and baggage. The representatives were contemptuous and refused to own the uncertainty or the extra expenses. We flew Southwest without any problems before, but this Priceline reservation was a disaster. Surely looking elsewhere the next time.
