DO NOT USE PRICELINE! I booked a hotel through Priceline for a trip to visit family in Michigan. After driving from Florida, we realized the hotel was in the wrong city, almost two hours away. Exhausted, I tried to cancel the booking online but couldn't. I called the hotel over 15 times with no answer. The hotel chain's location where we were staying couldn't help and directed me to contact the original hotel. After finally reaching someone, they said I needed to contact Priceline for a refund. Priceline claimed the reservation was non-refundable, even though my paperwork stated a full refund was possible before a certain date, with only a 56% penalty after. Despite reaching out to Priceline twice, they refused to offer any refund. I lost over $250, plus travel expenses and unpaid time off work. I will never use Priceline again and will warn others to avoid this third-party booking site.
