I exported a photo or video from PhotoGrid, but the quality dropped significantly. How can I save the file without losing quality?

Quality loss is most often related to export settings. By default, PhotoGrid may apply compression, especially in free mode or when exporting with basic parameters.

Before saving, it is important to manually check the quality, resolution, and file format settings, if such options are available.

Subscription status also matters. In some cases, the app allows high-quality editing but automatically reduces resolution or applies compression during export if the paid feature is not properly activated. This can happen even with an active subscription due to synchronization issues.

For videos, quality degradation may be related to frame rate or bitrate. If the app automatically lowers these values, the final file will look worse than the original.

If such settings are unavailable or cannot be adjusted by the user, this should be considered a service limitation that users must be informed about in advance.

If you are using the paid version and the quality still drops without any option to control it, this is considered improper service delivery. In such cases, the service is obliged to either provide lossless export options or issue a refund.

If PhotoGrid support does not explain the reason for the quality loss or ignores your requests, be sure to describe the situation in detail on Xolvie.

Clearly state that the export was completed, but the result does not match the advertised capabilities. Other users’ experiences show that public complaints often lead to high-quality export being unlocked or refunds being issued.
