Philips 65Pus8057 Ambilight Hue Sync TV Region Restriction, Can't Download the App
my choice was Philips 65Pus8057 Ambilight TV because I had already used a 49-inch TV with Ambilight and Hue features. I bought the Hue starter kit for ₺4500 because I wanted to see what Ambilight+Hue could do. However, when I was setting up the new TV, I found that it doesn't support Ambilight+Hue, which my old TV did. I found out that this feature was taken away from the 2023 models because the manufacturers, even though they are both Philips, use different protocols, which meant that this connection could no longer be made. My complaint is that the Philips Hue Sync TV app can be used to connect even a Samsung TV that doesn't have Ambilight. But I can't download this app on my Philips TV because the company that made it, Signify Netherlands, doesn't let people in Turkey use it. How do you explain this? Something I bought cost twice as much as I thought it would, and now I can't use it with a Philips TV of the same brand.
