Philips TV Remote Drains Batteries Extremely Fast Since Purchase

Philips TV Remote Drains Batteries Extremely Fast Since Purchase

I purchased a Philips television with its original remote control from Amazon approximately one year ago and since the first day I have been experiencing a problem with the remote. The remote consumes batteries at an abnormally high rate, and I have had to replace the batteries very frequently throughout this period. This situation has become both costly and very inconvenient in daily use. Because the battery consumption problem has been ongoing since the purchase date, I believe this is not normal usage but a product-related issue. I have not yet contacted Philips or Amazon customer services about this matter, and I am now submitting my complaint through this platform. I request that the Philips TV remote, which has shown high battery consumption since the first day, be checked and repaired if possible, or that a new remote control be sent to me as a replacement. I expect support so that I can use my television without constantly having to change batteries in the remote.
