My Philips 8000 Vacuum Constantly Shows Filter Warning and Won’t Clean Properly

I purchased the Philips 8000 Series cordless vacuum expecting a premium cleaning experience, but I was disappointed almost immediately. Just a few days after using it, the vacuum began displaying a persistent filter warning, even though the filter was clean. On top of that, it stopped picking up small crumbs and particles—something any decent vacuum should easily handle.

I bought it from MediaMarkt and even paid extra for additional insurance coverage. But when I returned the product, they told me the issue wasn’t covered, despite the protection I purchased. I contacted Philips support, hoping for a resolution, only to be told the filter replacement would cost nearly as much as the vacuum itself. This is unacceptable.

It feels like once the sale is made, neither the retailer nor the brand wants to take responsibility. I trusted Philips for quality and support, and I feel completely let down. I’m requesting that Philips stand behind their product and provide a proper solution—either by fixing the defect or replacing the faulty unit. We shouldn't be paying the price for poor design and lack of service.
