Peugeot Refuses to Honor My Prepaid Service Package Over a One-Week Delay
At the beginning of 2023, I bought a brand new Peugeot 3008. Last year (02.03.2024), I took my car to the ABC Peugeot Authorized Service located on Ankara Istanbul Road for annual maintenance. They offered me a two-year service package called full service package. I accepted. I paid ₺15.798,00 in advance. This year, when I took my vehicle to ABC Peugeot Authorized Service for annual maintenance (10.03.2025), they told me that the one-year period had passed and therefore they could not perform annual maintenance on my vehicle. They asked me to call customer service. I called, but they repeated the same sentences. 2 years ago, I paid around ₺2 million for Peugeot's car with today's value. A year ago, I paid ₺15,798.00 advance for two years of maintenance service. However, the company ignores them. They avoid providing service by making a big deal out of a one-week delay. The reason why I cannot go to the service on time may be my health problems. I may have lost a relative, etc. Why are such human situations never taken into account? Today, when you make an appointment with an institution - whether public or private - you receive a reminder message. No such message is sent, and the customer service is quite noble and unsympathetic, saying that they are not responsible for the service time. This attitude of the company does not suit a brand like Peugeot and the Stellantis group. It is as if they act as if they want the customer to miss the service date so that we can make money without providing service. As a result, I did not receive a service that I paid for a year ago. I demand that either the service be provided or the money I paid last year corresponding to this year's service be paid to me together with the annual interest.
