Peugeot Authorized Service: Expensive Repairs and Hidden Costs

I dropped off my car at General Oto, a Peugeot-authorized service center, on October 9, 2023. I thought they were reliable and could handle the repairs and maintenance. But, that day, they told me that one possible reason for the problem might be the injector and that it needed to be replaced. The cost for that would be a whopping 12,500 TL. They also recommended doing more procedures because of the same issue. Even though I asked multiple times, they kept saying that there was no other option except for the replacement, even if it was only temporary. Then they told me that my car had a bunch of error codes and that they would have to order the part from France. While my car was at their place, they charged me 1,440 TL for mechanical work. Later, I discovered that the problem could have been fixed with a simple procedure, but they didn't choose to do it. My experience with Peugeot's authorized service has made me worried about expensive repairs and the importance of clearer communication.
