On September 2, 2015, I purchased a brand-new Peugeot 5008 from the Antoto Liman dealership in Antalya. Shortly after buying the vehicle, I began experiencing many problems, including wind noise coming from the driver’s side window, the i-toggles menu not working properly, being unable to switch between menus, menus changing on their own, the screen going black, the speedometer resetting to zero while driving, turn signal stalks not working, the screen language changing by itself, and being unable to switch between radio stations.
To have these issues fixed, I took the vehicle to the Antoto Liman service center where I purchased it. A test drive was done regarding the wind noise, but since the assigned technician stated that he did not hear any noise, only a general door inspection and cleaning of the door seal were performed. As for the other malfunctions, the vehicle was connected to a computer, some procedures were carried out, and the car was returned to me in that condition.
However, neither the wind noise stopped nor were these now clearly chronic problems resolved. Every time I sit in the driver’s seat, I start the engine wondering, “What will go wrong today?” At this point, I do not feel safe in this vehicle.
