My Brand New Peugeot 308 GT Suffered a Complete Failure Within a Week
On Monday, October 6th, I purchased a 2023 Peugeot 308 GT model from Göral Balgat Peugeot Dealership. However, on Saturday, October 11th, my vehicle experienced serious malfunctions. The car does not move at all, automatically shifts to “P” mode when I release the brake pedal, the door buttons are unresponsive, the doors do not lock, all doors appear as open, and the tire pressure sensors cannot be detected, among several other issues. I immediately took my car to the Peugeot Göral Balgat service center on the same day. However, even after a week, the cause of the malfunction has not been identified, and no replacement vehicle has been provided to address my inconvenience. Despite my request, I was informed that a replacement car cannot be provided until the fault is diagnosed. Both Göral and Peugeot headquarters have shown an unhelpful attitude regarding the issue. Although my vehicle is still under warranty, I request that this issue be resolved as soon as possible. I expect either a replacement vehicle to be provided or the malfunction to be repaired urgently. My vehicle’s license plate number is 06 GT 494, and my case file number is 1223206. This is the first time I have encountered such a problem, and to date, I have not received any updates or proposed solutions.
I was informed that the vehicle malfunction was fixed and it was delivered to me, but the malfunction occurred again. The fault in the gear selector box persists. My waiting process is ongoing.
A different fault was detected, the driver’s door wiring harness will be replaced and the part is being awaited from France. Peugeot is trying to make me use and deliver the faulty vehicle to me in this condition. The issues that occur during the malfunction include the gear getting locked in the P position, safety systems being disabled, and all electronic components on the driver’s door not working, resulting in serious functional losses. I did not accept delivery because the car poses a risk to me and my family. My first request for a replacement vehicle was rejected. Another request was made and I am being kept waiting.
A replacement vehicle was provided to me. This has been the 4th malfunction with the same issue. My car cannot be repaired. I have submitted a request for return or replacement to the manufacturer.
