Peugeot 5008 Mechanical Fault After Warranty Service




Ever since the initial maintenance of my 2020 Peugeot 5008, which was kindly covered under the goodwill warranty, a mechanical issue has been discovered in my vehicle. The service center insisted on a payment of ₺15,000 for the replacement of the part, only providing a 25% discount as part of the goodwill warranty. Even after consistently taking my car to authorized service centers for years, I still feel that the 25% discount provided by Peugeot is not enough. I kindly request an appropriate resolution for my concern.
Progress
Despite having my Peugeot 5008 model car serviced at the authorized service center for its 15,000-kilometer maintenance, I encountered a Seatbelt airbag warning on the screen in the past few months. When I approached the authorized service center, they informed me that there was an airbag control fault and that it would cost me 15,000 TL. Additionally, when I requested a goodwill warranty, I was humorously told that a 25% discount, amounting to 3,500 TL, had been applied in the system. While other car brands only charge for labor in cases of non-user mechanical issues, only a 25% discount was offered to me, which prompted me to file this complaint. The customer representative got back to me and, amusingly, told me that they increased the discount from 3500 TL to 5000 TL. They are telling me that I will have to pay 10,000 TL for a mechanical failure that is not due to user error. Peugeot has really let me down.
