Peugeot 3008 AdBlue Tank Fails at 61,000 Miles — No Warranty Support
My 2019 Peugeot 3008’s AdBlue tank failed at about 61,000 miles. I bought the vehicle new, and I cannot accept that such a part would break at this mileage. If someone had told me this was a “chronic failure,” I wouldn’t have believed it — but unfortunately what I experienced makes me think exactly that.
When I took the vehicle to the Antakya Aslanbey authorized service center, they quoted me about $2,300 for the AdBlue tank repair, and the brand did not offer any courtesy, discount, or support. I called Peugeot Turkey and explained the situation in detail, but no solution was offered to me. The only response I received was, “You did not have all the services done at the dealer, so the warranty team can’t help.”
Yes, I had two services done outside your authorized dealer because your dealer in Hatay was destroyed by an earthquake and has still not fully reopened. An AdBlue tank failing at 61,000 miles is neither acknowledged as a chronic issue nor does the brand stand behind its product. I cannot reconcile the disregard for customer satisfaction and the demand that I pay about $2,300 with no support with what I expect from a brand like Peugeot.
I am requesting that Peugeot replace the AdBlue tank entirely free of charge, taking into account the extraordinary circumstances and the vehicle’s mileage.
No one is shaking.
