Peloton Delivered My Bike But the Shoes Haven’t Shipped and Support Is Unhelpful

Although the Peloton bike I recently purchased came in less than a week, the shoes have not yet shipped. Delivering a bike without the shoes makes little sense, particularly as you cannot truly ride the bike correctly without them. To find out the situation, we thus tried getting in touch to Peloton. First, we waited twenty minutes in a chat queue just to find the agent stating they were "transferring me to membership." Nobody else ever entered the chat following that. Angry, we tried calling instead, but after waiting on hold for twenty-five minutes the call eventually rang through—only to disconnect! Getting aid has been an absolute mess. I expected far better service for the price this item cost.
