On September 18, 2025, during my Pegasus flight PC3015 from Izmir to Adana, I experienced extremely unprofessional and disrespectful treatment from a staff member at the identity check.
The agent suddenly blocked my way, shouting loudly in front of everyone: “You have three pieces of luggage; we cannot allow this on the plane!” This was shocking and humiliating, especially since I had traveled from Adana with the exact same belongings and faced no issue whatsoever.
It was clear that the real purpose was to force me to pay ₺1,000. The staff member explicitly said I would not be allowed to board unless I paid. On top of that, she threatened me with “I’ll call the police” and claimed to have contacted her supervisor while continuing her aggressive behavior. The police never came, and the situation escalated until other passengers in line began reacting to the unfair treatment.
In the end, the staff only allowed me to pass after making me cram my garment bag—carrying neatly pressed clothes—into my carry-on to avoid the charge. This proved it was never about safety, only about money.
I am not concerned about the money itself. But as someone who takes nearly 100 flights a year, I can say this attitude has destroyed my trust in Pegasus. I will never choose this airline again.
