Pegasus Airlines PC1764 Dublin-Ankara Flight Delay and Mishandled Connection

On July 26, 2024, my Pegasus Airlines flight PC1764 from Dublin to Ankara was delayed by 4 hours. Apart from a €7 meal voucher provided at the airport to cover our food needs during the delay, no compensation has been paid to us yet. Pegasus Airlines surely knows that only coffee can be purchased with that amount at the airport.
Upon arrival in Ankara, we were met by a Pegasus staff member at the gate for our connecting flight to Sabiha Gökçen. We were informed that there would be no issues with the connection and that all passengers from the Dublin flight would be boarding the approximately 1-hour later planned flight (scheduled for 00:25). We gathered and reached the gate, but to our surprise, the plane had already departed. We were left wondering if our luggage had been loaded onto the aircraft. We were then told that we would be added to another Ankara-Sabiha Gökçen flight that should have departed at 21:30 but had not yet taken off. Naturally, our seat numbers changed. The flight departed at 2:30 AM. At the airport, we were given a sandwich with salami and cheese, and a cola. Incredibly, there was no water, and I was told it had run out and was not replenished when requested. If you were a vegetarian, you would have gone hungry. My wife refused to remove the salami, so she went and got her own food, but this was probably the least of our concerns during the journey. We then landed and started waiting for our luggage. Approximately 40 Dublin connecting passengers, both domestic and international, did not have their luggage arrive on the belts. While waiting, a passenger took the initiative to inquire with airport staff about the situation and learned that our luggage needed to be collected from customs. When we took a taxi from the airport, it was already 4:30 AM. Throughout this entire flight, we were not properly directed by Pegasus operations, and we endured a grueling journey of approximately 15-16 hours.
I subsequently filed a compensation claim with Pegasus. They rejected my claim for the Ankara-Sabiha Gökçen issues, stating that it was due to extraordinary circumstances beyond the normal course of events. For the Dublin-Ankara delay, it has been 2 weeks, and our case number 10817593 is still under review, with no progress in sight. Unfortunately, the entire process is being handled without regard for customer satisfaction, and we, who are already victims, are being further victimized.
