Pegasus Airlines Amsterdam Flight Delay, Compensation was Just Complementary Meal
On December 7, 2023, at 12:40 in Amsterdam, it was announced that my flight would depart with a 50-minute delay. However, after boarding the shuttle to reach the plane, we circled the runway, only to be returned to the starting point, being informed that the flight would be delayed for an additional 5 hours due to fog. Is the weather checked right before boarding? Spending the entire day at the airport is frustrating, and it's disheartening that, on top of our flight delay, another airline (X) managed to fly to Amsterdam. An apology was offered in the form of a meal for this unpleasant situation. How can a meal compensate for the six hours I've lost? Pegasus can't fly due to fog, but airline X can. Beyond the wasted time, I'm also disappointed that, even upon reaching my destination, I won't be able to see the places I planned due to Pegasus. Not to mention the museum tickets I purchased a month ago – money down the drain.
