My Baggage Got Destroyed on PC261 Flight: Insufficient Compensation and Disrespect from Pegasus




During my travel to Montenegro's Podgorica Airport on flight PC261 (PNR: GXEH2A) dated 03/09/24 at 09:55, my suitcase arrived on the baggage carousel completely shattered. Despite filing a report with the authorities at Podgorica Airport and submitting all requested documents, including photos of my damaged suitcase, I have not been compensated for my 80€ loss. Instead, they offered a mere 900 TL based on their own assessment. In today's market, 900 TL doesn't even cover a wallet, let alone a suitcase.
I have never encountered such a major issue in my life. I will be filing complaints with every relevant authority, including the Consumer Protection Association. This is a scandalous situation—if you cannot properly compensate for damages, at least show respect for passengers' belongings. Don’t destroy people’s luggage! I have traveled the world and have been flying since I was four years old, and I have never seen such negligence.
The staff were also extremely unhelpful and even made disrespectful remarks. I submitted my invoice for 80€, and I will not accept the 900 TL they offered. This disrespectful treatment is unacceptable! You wouldn’t even find trash for 900 TL! I am urgently awaiting a response and action from a senior official. My vacation was ruined, and I am considering taking legal action for damages.
