PDF Editor Charged a Monthly Subscription After a One-Time Payment

On July 22, 2026, I used the Pdfeditor.org website through the Chrome browser solely for a one-time PDF editing service and paid approximately $1 for that transaction. When making this payment, I was not given any clear, prominent, or easily noticeable information stating that I would automatically be enrolled in a paid monthly subscription after a weekly trial period.

On July 29, 2026, when I checked my DenizBank credit card transactions, I noticed that approximately $24 had been charged to my card by Pdfeditor.org without my authorization or explicit consent. This transaction was made without my knowledge or intention. As soon as I noticed the charge, I went to the website and immediately canceled the subscription.

My intention was only to purchase a one-time PDF editing service. Despite this, I was automatically enrolled in a subscription without clear disclosure and charged a significant amount. I find this practice extremely misleading and unfair. The email address registered with Pdfeditor.org is f********@gmail.com.

I am requesting a full refund of the approximately $24 charged to my credit card as soon as possible. Otherwise, I intend to initiate a chargeback through my bank and report this transaction as misleading billing.
